It’s tough running a successful small business, trying to spend enough time to ensure you have a successful business while not running yourself into the ground. Some people say the first 1000 days are the hardest, but then things happen that are beyond our control and you realise you always have to be on top of your business maintaining your business profile and keeping the sales funnel filled so there is always the prospect of work in the pipeline.
Things will get on top of you and you will find that essential tasks start to pile up and you start to fire fight and become reactive to your business rather than proactive. If this happens you need to enlist help but employing staff brings its own headaches. This is why businesses are increasingly turning to outsourcing some of the essential support functions of their business to free up some of their valuable time.
Outsourcing is not a new idea and has mainly been used by larger companies who buy in services as they need them rather than set up entire departments for accounts, marketing, HR, reception etc. Small business owners are now realising the benefits of this in comparison to employing permanent staff and the positive impact on the businesses profitability.
The services of Kendlebell Luton’s professional telephone answering and admin service are perfect for businesses of all sizes, we offer a personal service to our clients and will answer calls on your behalf in your company name when you choose to divert to us. Today I signed a new client who I have been speaking to for a few weeks. They took a week off from their business and were at home decorating and catching up with those jobs that always need to be done but you never have the time to do.
They run a cleaning business from home and so were still answering calls received. The week they were at home they managed to get 3 new clients because they answered the calls. They were surprised at the number of calls they received and wondered how many they had missed because they never had many voicemails messages left before. This has made them realise that clients don’t leave messages but they do call other companies similar to them and just go with the one that answers the phone.
This made them think how much new business they may have missed while they are out looking after their clients. They then looked at the options available to them, one was to employ someone to answer all the calls, but this is expensive and it didn’t feel right having someone in their home. The second option was to use a service like Kendlebell Luton a professional telephone answering service for businesses. During the trial week they found that the best thing was that messages followed them wherever they are and because callers are advised that they are with clients it made them seem busier so callers felt more confident to wait for a call back, which was usually only a short time after they received the message.

Outsourcing is a very popular trend in the business world. This enables companies and organisations to access high quality services at lower costs and thus expand profit margins. Lately, in view of the grim economic climate outsourcing has become the need of the hour as businesses seek to cut costs in every possible way.
Virtual Assistance
Virtual assistants are professionals who provide administrative and personal services to businesses in order to facilitate smooth business operations. The only difference between regular employees and virtual assistants is that virtual assistants work remotely,
Virtual Telephone Answering and Receptionist services.
Virtual telephone answering services provide professional receptionist services remotely and give effective communications for businesses. They can provide a virtual reception service and route the calls the same as if they were using your phone system but remotely. You divert your phone number when it suits you and they answer in your business name. Again this cuts the cost of full time staff and you switch them on and off as you need the assistance.
Both services enable businesses to significantly  reduce office costs in terms of space and utilities, also there is no fixed annual salary to pay, no Tax, National Insurance, holiday or sick pay, but you have the services when you need them most.  The services of a VA are also tax deductible.
