What happens when a call comes in?

We answer in a professional and courteous manner using the greeting you have asked us to use along with your company name. We’re not a one-size-fits-all service: we tailor your telephone answering service to reflect the individual nature of your company. Our service is shaped around your business and we work with you to provide the perfect service for you and your customers. If you want certain callers to be greeted in a particular manner, we can do that. Important callers can be immediately transferred to the relevant member of staff, and we can even block irritating cold-callers!

Messages are sent as efficiently and quickly as possible for any calls we receive for you and you can let us know if there is any crucial information we may need to know at any point during the day – maybe your meeting has overrun or you’re stuck in traffic – just send us an email or give us a call. We will then use this information when deciding whether to transfer a call or inform a caller that you are on your way.

Call Answering Services

At Telephone-Answering we offer our client flexibility with our packages and services:

  • We answer your calls with your business name along with your predetermined greeting
  • Some customers choose to have us answer all of their calls, all of the time
  • Others prefer to use us only when the phone is engaged or goes unanswered.
  • It is completely up to you to decide how you utilise Telephone-answering – we’ll work with you to arrange the most appropriate package for your requirements.
  • Once everything is set up, there is no need to worry about any of this. Just tell us what you would like and we’ll do the rest. We’re here to help you in any way that we can.
  • Whichever way you choose to use us, at the end of each day you will be emailed a summary report showing all the messages taken for you that day. Outside of our standard business hours, your calls will go to a personalised voicemail.

Sickness, Absence Cover

Staff sickness can be a problem for any business but no fear: we’re here to help! We offer sickness and absence cover for those days where you find yourself short- staffed in the office. View it as a form of insurance to ensure you don’t lose any potential business on days when your office is understaffed!

Disaster Recovery

One aspect you may not have considered is the potential for disaster recovery. By having our service if your phones go down or a more serious problem occurs you can be assured that you will still be open for business and so while you are sorting out any problems we can still be taking your calls and if required relaying relevant information to your callers.

Multiple Lines

At Telephone-Answering we appreciate that your company may need more than one phone number to cater for different businesses, teams or departments within their business. We can adapt your package around this, with the option of supporting different numbers and greetings for each virtual team or department in your company.

Our packages start from just £20 per month! See our prices page for more info. At Telephone Answering, we keep things simple. Our costs are transparent and there’s nothing hidden from you. We pride ourselves on our honest, clear approach, and our fantastic working relationships with our clients.

We charge by the number of messages that we send you, NOT by the calls we answer. This ensures that you are not charged for unwanted sales calls which can be costly for your business.
